AI driver coaching that actually changes behaviour.
Most telematics platforms give you charts and expect you to do the coaching. Tracking Guardian's Cortex AI does the analysis for you — every Monday, every driver gets a personalised, plain-English coaching report, and every manager gets a fleet summary that says what to act on.
From raw driving data to a Monday-morning conversation.
Cortex AI analyses the previous week's driving data — harsh braking, speeding against real road limits, acceleration, cornering, idling and mileage — and turns it into something a human being can act on. No spreadsheets, no manual analysis, no jargon.
- Plain-English reports — no data dumps. Coaching summaries any driver can understand and act on immediately.
- Week-on-week trends — improving and deteriorating patterns identified per driver, before they become incidents or insurance claims.
- Predictive maintenance — harsh braking patterns correlated with service history to predict brake wear weeks ahead.
"Your harsh braking events increased 38% this week, mostly on the A48 between 08:00–09:30. This suggests time pressure on morning runs — consider leaving the depot 10 minutes earlier to reduce risk."
"Fleet risk score improved from 79 to 84 this week. Most improved: S. Thomas (+11 pts). Requires attention: R. Jones — 4 speeding events on the M4."
Scoring drivers can trust.
Normalised by mileage
A driver doing 1,200 miles a week isn't punished against one doing 200. Scores are normalised so the league table is fair — and drivers buy into it.
Real road limits
Speeding is measured against the actual limit of the road driven, not a blanket threshold. Drivers aren't penalised for legal motorway speeds.
Per-driver accuracy
Automatic driver ID fobs mean scores follow the driver, not the vehicle — accurate even in shared vans and pool vehicles.
Weekly leaderboard
A weekly league table on harsh braking, speeding, acceleration and cornering. Recognition for the best drivers, gentle pressure for the rest.
Fewer incidents
Coached drivers brake earlier, speed less and idle less — which shows up in fuel bills, wear and tear, and insurance claims.
Your data stays yours
Cortex AI runs on Engineer M8's own infrastructure. Your fleet's driving data isn't shipped to third-party AI providers.
